Remember, your ISP is not obligated to provide help on router problems, although some do, and if they do, some say you have to have the brand they sell.
Buy a good router and in Canada get the rest of the parts from Princess Auto. They have brand name parts, e.g. IBM, RCA, and the prices for wall plates, jacks, etc are a quarter of the cost anywhere else.
(If you need audio/video cables, including S-video they have those in brand name also, with the same price reduction.)
