Remote Desktop Connection
Network Scanner - Is a free program that does so many things depending on your needs.
There are numerous free programs out there that do various things when it comes to Remote Desktop Connection. You may prefer one of the others, but this is my choice. Here are a few reasons why.
You often need to know the IP of your computers.
You may need the MAC accress for some operations.
When you use Wake On Lan, or Shutdown, you can rescan and verify from remote it the action is completed.
Clicking on Actions allows a variety of remote services to take place on any of your selected computers.
For example, if you click on Wake On Lan to start a remote computer, it will ask you to enter the MAC address.
All you have to do is right click on the computer's name in Network Scanner and copy and paste it into this box.
Mission is accomplished short and sweet.
